I haven't started on the snout yet, I need to machine a complete new shaft as the current one is necked down in the middle, so only room for 1 bearing. It will be pretty short though once done, probably no more than 3 inch.

Put the casing in the mill and took all of the mounting lugs off the back, so it's all nice and flat now.

made exhaust manifold,

turbo had to sit low for 4 inch downpipe to go underneath manifold for clearance on right hand drive.

serpentines require a spring type self tensioner to operate properly as they stretch (they do this constantly). Without such, you will either have too much or too little tension or both at different times.
I would add such a tensioner to the slack side of the belt. ;)

also- try and get as much "foot" as you can where the pulley mounts to the aluminum bracket as its soft and the pulley mounts will gradually cut into it until they tilt enough and it starts throwing belts.

I've no idea how much force that would exert on the belt, but what your protecting is the snout bearings. Too much tension kills them fast.

so what about the pipe from the supercharger to the turbo, would 3 inch be the correct size to keep the air moving faster?
The turbo intake is 4inch so i was thinking the divertor flap would need to be 4 inch and the air filter pipe 4 inch also so when the big demand for more air comes there won't be a restriction.
