I have a used Monster Pump Mike converter plus fat input shaft and stator, lockup is instant, fully rebuildable, rated for somewhere north of 1500hp, stalled at 3000rpm for big single turbos or large compound sets. I have only put about 1500 street miles on it, I got it second hand from a puller that used it for less than a season.

Is one able to get different stators for these, or do you still have to send it in for work?

This converter will give him a pretty solid foundation. There aren’t many still out there, but I have heard of ZERO hard part failures. And if the clutch happens to get burned or you need to stall for a different turbo you can pull it apart and make it happen.

I’ve also been told parts can be sourced through DPC to rebuild the lockup clutch.
