need 7.3 schooling

Alright got an 01 ford 7.3 i have a hx40 i thought about putting on it i ran on a dodge but can you do it? if so what all will the heads take? looking for some air possibly exhaust? dont know where to go thanks guys

a turbo setup to run on a 5.9 probably wont work right on a 7.3 unless you change houseing and or wheels

if you do decide to run that turbo its going to take quite abit of work to mount it in there because the stock turbos mount compleetly differant

are you going to keep running stock injectors?if your not going to put some really big injectors in it I would look at getting a 38r turbo because it is a direct bolt in.

sell the 40 and get something beter suited to the 7.3.....to make the 40 work you will at the very minimum have to build a custom mount/up-pipes. stock injectors wont be enough either

if stock and tow rig , Id just get a ats compressor housing and a non EBPV 1.0 turbo housing and call it good
