My buddy has an 07 that up until a few months ago was bone stock. His brother gave him a Smarty and right off the bat he got a high RP code. Set everything back to stock and same code popped up. He changed the RP sensor and PRV. No change. Then he cracked 3 injector bodies and 2 nozzles. Had F1 rebuild them with 100 HP nozzles. Any setting with the Smarty will still set the high pressure code. RP gauge never goes above 26500 psi. Any idea what might be going on here?

After a full throttle run, once he lifts off the throttle, the CEL will come on and at that point the code reappears. Truck still runs normal but we can't figure out why this is happening. Never did this until the programmer was added. Now he keeps the RP set to default because of the new injectors.

RP gauge probably doesn't read above 26.5k

What tune are you running? With an '07, there's no excuse not to run EFI Live

Not sure what his Smarty settings are....they're conservative.... Nothing crazy and RP is set to default.

That I don't know. I'll have to ask him.

I do know that the programmer has never been updated and it's about 5-6 yrs old.
