I have a good buddy in Colorado with an 06 Jetta diesel that has issues.
Needs help checking if engine is shot or Turbo just filled cylinders with oil.
Knows turbo is shot for sure.
Post or PM me for his number if you are close or can offer assistance...

Thanks guys!!!

pull intercooler piping, drain intercooler. Pull glow plugs from head then turn the crank with a ratchet and 12pt 19mm on the crank to evacuate the oil, still might take more than that.

glow plugs, good call,, I had him looking to pull injectors..

Is he looking for someone in the Leadville area?

If someone is there and can help out, yes, if not, any tech support is welcome.

Yeah injectors on these things aren't a normal item to pull, these are cam driven with rockers, all special hardware that is one-time use only.

I think some people crank them over with the starter with glow plugs pulled(after cranking it over by hand) to help evacuate it, you could also use a top-side oil change setup to suck it out of the piston bowls.

Just make sure to clean it all up to prevent a run-away or hydrolock.

i warned him of the runaway with vapor in it Didn't know injectors were that much of a pita in that car. Matty I appreciate it, would you mind pm'ing me his number? or i can send you casey's, thanks!

Got to play with a VCDS Vag-Com the other day in a Jetta here at work. That is a very cool tool.

Carry on.
