I'm not a ford man by no means can yall tell me what is the goods and bads about these 7.3 strokes thanks

Goods - dependable, tough trucks and engines, good-usable power, decent economy. Respond well to simple power mods (chip, exhaust, intake)

Bads - power to cost ratio higher than other powerplants. Can be done, but 500 hp in a Stroke costs more that 500 hp in a Cummins or Duramax. (I can show the reciepts . Injection system more complex than others, but just takes some getting used.

I love mine.

no nothing real specific my step dad wants one and i was just trying to get some info on these trucks do you know what mpg they get stock im sure thats what it will be he wont be adding any mods im sure

are the 6.0 any better

6.0 are better on fuel but about half as reliable...7.3 get any where from 15-20mpg on stock tires...7.3s are very well built motors and if hes leaving it stock then no worries on performance...they also handle a load real well in stock form.
