Need some informed opinions on a CR rebuild

There are several trucks with a 6.7 and a 5.9 ecm on here.

There is lot of conflicting info on whether the 06ecm will run the 6.7 injectors, but I read the link this morning and a bunch of others, and I am believing it might work. This would be great because the 6.7 injectors sound like they are better than the 5.9's.
 
Any thoughts on turbo upgrades for 500 hp, or just leave it stock? Gtx4296r? Could I run a stock cummins isx turbo?
