Seth- Fuel Injection Guy
This has been in the works since July, but we’ve finally received our first shipment of these “peak” profile Bosch factory cams for the 7000 series P-pumps.
The cams are the same as stock lift (12mm), however fill time is greatly increased over the 180/215 cams and even more over the 160/175 cams. Also, since they’re factory Bosch and not regrinds, you can bank on having the same longevity and life expectancy of any other stock Bosch cam (well in excess of 200,000 miles).
The guys who will benefit most from these cams are obviously the 160/175 pump guys, but for those with 180/215 pumps trying to turn more than 4300-4400 rpm, the added fill time (combined with the better Bosch tappet springs) will maintain the same fueling up to around 4800-4900 rpm.
These cams will come standard in our new line of 12mm and 13mm street/weekend warrior pumps.
The outright price for these cams will be $540.00.
The outright price for the upgrade Bosch tappet springs will be $438 for the set.
The price for the cam, overhaul of your pump, gasket/seal kits, and calibrated to your specs will be $1175 plus return shipping (we keep the old cam core). If upgrading from the 180/215 cam the price will be $1075 (we keep the old cam core).
The price for the cam and springs combo, overhaul of your pump, gasket/seal kits, and calibrated to your specs will be $1575 plus return shipping (we keep the old cam core). If upgrading from the 180/215 cam the price will be $1475 (we keep the old cam core).
