I guess somebody had to make me a liar eventually... I always asked why you see so many Cummins into Ford swaps and never a Powerstroke in a Dodge. Finally someone put a Powerstroke in a Dodge instead of the popular Cummins in a Ford LOL Though, technically I guess its just a Dodge-bodied Ford?

Either way, welcome to CompD!

I can't imagine the work it must have taken to do that. A typical Ford Cummins swap is nothing compared to that....

looks good. guess im a liar too. ive seen a 67 ford with a cummins and 97 dodge dash and interior in it but never an 85 dodge with a powerstroke and a ford interior

that goes against everything cumminsforum ever taught me, haha, but it sure is cool

I thought of your posts in the past as soon as I saw his truck :hehe:

Definitely odd, but looks nice!

well the dodge started life as a 85 gasser. the ford donor chasis was a theft recovery, it was just a matter of marrying the body to the frame and hooking up the electrical. i have some electrical issues that i am trying to work out. the seats are from a 96 Ram IIRC. Currently the truck has 87,000 km's

Welcome to compD

Pretty cool truck ya got there, looks like the interior fit pretty good even

thanks for the warm welcome

this site should be a little bit more forgiving then manufacturer specific sites i am on.

DANGIT!!! I wanted to be the first to do that! LOL Looks great though. :D

I don't read it as "powerstroke in a dodge" I read this as "dodge on a ford/powerstroke".

Something has to make the ford look presentable and no so ugly.

I think DOug at GoGo said it best when referring to the "Cummins-swap into a Ford". The correct terminology is a "Cummins chit-box delete mod". LOL
