New Harley smoked lights suck!

I bought off ebay the Harley imitation smoked lights for my 01 f-350. Since day one they sucked! They point at the ground which im sure is my fault...I need to adjust them.

Next even with the high beams on its barely enough light to safely drive.

I checked thismorning and when I put my high beams on it turns off my driver side bulb....WTF? would that be a short? If you turn the high beams off the bulb comes back on instantly.

Is the poor lighting because they have smoked lenses? Im using the best bulbs I can get from the auto parts store. Can't remember what model but its some fancy bosch blue bulb. It says 40% brighter then factory.

Maybe they wire vehicles differently in China ?

1...aim the lights properly. The best bulbs in the world won't matter if they're pointed at the dirt.

As far as the driver side bulb going out...it's a dual filament bulb. You have a bad bulb...not bad wiring. Switch sides with the bulbs....I bet the issue moves to the other side.

If they're oem style knock offs...the lenses aren't really smoked just the background is black.
Get them installed righ with functioning bulbs and I bet you'll be happy.
