New injectors tick.

I put 50hp (20% over) exergy injectors in my 03 and it has a tick to it. I searched and all I could find on here is loose line clamps or valve lash. I also read somewhere on here that it is because the timing needs changed because of the bigger injectors. I don't have a tuner on it, only injectors, he351cw and intake. If I need a tuner to correct it I will, I was planning on it next just haven't found one yet. Just need some help, still new to these. Thanks

My 60% didn't tick or anything weird on stock tune...till they got metal debris in them from somewhere. Are you talking about the ticking when the key is on and engine off?

Edit: not saying you got trash in your injectors and that's what's causing the noise, just saying mine did

No ticks at idle and you can hear it down the road barely.

Does it sound like all 6 cylinders are ticking or just one or a few? Did you change brands or weight of oil at the same time you did the injectors?
