Just introducing myself because, well I have to to get to post replies and send pm's, but I'm 16 years old and I drive a truck I restored frame up with a 6.9 N/A idi, wanting a turbo but I am gonna start another project which is going to be a JD 404 twin turbo'ed powered 86 F250, just gotta get some questions answered first :evil
 
Welcome. My first ride was a 93 F-250 with the 7.3 idi non turbo which is pretty much the exact same as yours with a little extra displacement. They are very dependable good running rigs, but lacking in the power department. Nice to see some younger diesel enthusiasts like myself (I'm 20). Good luck with your truck and I hope you learn as much as I have on the forums.
 
Flint Hills, my 6.9 isn't exactly stock haha not fast, but not stock, big pump and bigger sticks just no turbo to make them work, I'm looking though for turbo kits.
