just thout id share.
took her down to bare metal and sprayed her with about 4 coats (1 gallon) epoxy primer and 4 coats (a gallon) single stage urathane polar white. turned out nice i have some minor orange peel on the roof towards the center where i couldnt reach as good so i couldnt get a wet enough coat for it to flow properly but other than that its like glass. im gonna leave the emblems and stuff off to keep it lookin clean. I have got to say i could never be a body man. It took about 3 days worth of sanding to get the truck down to bare metal then a day to clean it all and tape it and about 3 hours total to shoot it. and i still need to wet sand the roof where the orange peel is. But it is all worth it cause i was quoted 3800 bucks to repaint it. and i only have about 800 into this one but about 48 hours of my labor into it. Now i just got to get my but in gear and build my flat bed.

Looks great Jay! Body shops make their money on paint jobs with the labor to prep.
