Finally made the jump to the diesel world and bought a 98.5 2500 that only had 140,000 miles. Absolutely love it already and have so much to do.
Starting slow and learning on the way so any help or advice welcomed.
Currently added AFE stage 1 intake, swapped over to Amsoil, moved to a FASS DDRP and installing ISSPRO EV2 fuel pressure gauge this weekend.
pillar pod with egt, boost and trans temp is next, then taking the stock exhaust (is straight piped now) and replacing with MBRP 4" as well.
Currently has diablo sport power puck but I'm not too impressed with it so that will likely change soon as well.
As for my fp installation, any suggestions or tips? Ive been told I should be able to tap in to a schraeder valve but also heard it may be wise to order the vulcan relocate/install kit for the fp gauge.
I've looked for Youtube info on the install but havent found any and been looking for something with pictures or better install info- I do much better with pictures for the install.
If anyone has any advice or help on this installation please let me know.
Also any advice for the next best upgrade or add on- send it.
