No lowbeams??? HELP HELP!!

I was driving down the road about a week ago and my headlights went out and then come back on, then a few miles down the road it did the same thing, the next morning I got in my truck to goto work and the headlights wouldnt come on again until I drove down the road a 1/2 mile or so, They have done this on and off for about a week or so, now I get off work and they wont do anything, During all this i still have my highbeams, I have changed my headlight switch and nothing changes, I have checked my bulbs and they look good but until i get new bulbs tomarrow i wont know, But i cant see both my lowbeams going out at the same time, Yall have any ideas????? any thing would help thanks in advance,
 
thanks unbroken, your the only one that wants to give me an idea, I guess the next thing to change is the combo switch on the colum
 
I'd start running down and checking grounds before I threw more parts at it.
 
If the fuses check good.. check out the multi-function switch....AKA..The turn signal switch..
