NV4500 to NV5600 12 Valve

Friend of mine is interested in trading his 5600 for my 4500. He wants to pull, and I want to tow. Trucks already set up with Valair DD with provisions for larger input.

From what I have gathered I will need the following:

-Longer Front drive shaft
-Shorther Rear shaft


Any input on what else I will need? I have heard a new crossmember?

Yes, you will need to change driveshafts if you have NV4500 shafts now. Also will need an NV5600 crossmember.

98+ trucks do not need to change cross members. Some 97's may also have the correct extra wide cross member.
