does anyone know how the wiring to this switch works?

Ive got a 94 with the push button OD/OFF switch on the dash, I'm trying to learn how the switch works, and find out how to replicate the wiring to it so that I can use another of the same switch as a manual lockup switch.

I know one pin is ground, one is hot all the time, one has something like 8 volts to it, and one has nothing. there are 4 pins on the switch total. somehow, the switch internally latches on, so that only a momentary push of the switch hold the switch on. (not the faintest idea how that works)

I'd reallllllllllllllyyy love to use the same switch so that the dash looks clean, and the light in the switch comes on. I'm aware that a manual lockup switch works by just grounding pin 54 on the pcm. Ive got a lockup switch wired up with a regular toggle right now, but I hate the look of a switch on the dash.
