Is there anyone running 1 of these oil filters.(LF9028) Fleetguard. Looked in their website but can't seem to find out to much, know thats a double by pass, but looking for more info,
Thanks

FYI, I contacted Fleetguard & they informed me that Cummins does recommend useing this filter on the Cummins B,5.9L or the 6.7L in the Dodge Ram Trucks.
It's a bit more costly, but for the added protection, I believe it would be well worth it.

What's the difference between it & the (LF16035 ) ? Might try one next time.

I get my filters at a big rig International dealer but anyone who sells Fleetguard filters should have access to get you one.
The LF16035 is an upgraded filter from the LF3972 which is similar to the LF3894 except it has a fluted shell, all are Stratapore media.
The best thing I suggest is to visit (cummins filtration.com) & start surfing the site, tons of valuable information & user friendly.
The LF9028 is (Venturi double bypass) filter with stacked stratapore media that is a direct to all the filters above, (thread size 1-16 UN-2B)
Hope this helps!
Be sure to read the article on bypass filtration system.

$41.48 Canadian, pretty fair for a spin on bypass, no need for extra plumbing
0.25 microns.
