Oil pressure sending unit Q's

Long story short... Swapped a 2002 ecm into a 2001 truck. Oil pressure gauge wont work. Is there a way to adapt this easily with out spending more time or money?
Ive researched, I've read, I've asked questions.

Closest thing I have come across is cummins part #3408428 but I don't know if it will work without a reprogram of some sort.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

02 sending unit as a switch. It's on or off and the "pressure" being shown on the gauge is a calculated value. To get the real pressure value as actually measured, reprogram the ECM to match your rig.

That's what I tried doing... Two different dealers told me a reprogram wouldn't fix it.
