I have a thread going on the re-power / conversion forum about finding a suitable engine for my `98 Land Rover Discovery and thought this might be a good place to ask if anyone has experience with modding an OM 612 2.7 CDI (Mercedes 270 and Sprinter, maybe other apps) to get rid of some of the engine management complexity that makes it hard to swap or for better performance? Or maybe one of you guys has one laying around that you want to get rid of cheap enough I can afford to screw around with it? PM me or drop by my LR conversion thread. If you have any real world experience with these engines outside of OEM app I would love to hear about it. Dach.
