P-pump injectors in a ve motor

I'm thinking about buying some injectors out of a 97 dodge there 5x14's. My question is will they fit and spray good with my ve pump?
 
You can use the nozzles, the injector body is different due to the tread where injector line fastens.....

I went this route twice, first gen bodies, 2nd gen nozzles. Snedge at Mumau Diesel set me up a nice set using honed 2nd gen marine nozzles

If you got a real good deal on them, you can get the injector threads turned down and rethreaded for first gen size and reset to correct pop pressure. That would probably cost 150 or so, so you would have to get them pretty cheap to make it worth it.
 
Thanks for the info guys...I've had this thought pop into my head more then once. Just doesn't seem worth it to me...buy the correct ones and be done with it. ;)
