P0540 air intake heater malfunction help

Just got this code this morning and I guess its a malfunction in the air intake heater circuit, is this a common issue with these? And is there any way to bypass it?
 
No, it's not a common issue. Most likely the relay has gone bad for it though. EFILIVE can allow you to shut the code off and you can use a CUMMINS 5.9L drain plug to plug the hole in the intake if you remove it.
