The other day I pushed my parking brake down and everything worked fine. I released the brake and moved the truck. When I tried to set it again, I did the normal ratcheting as it usually does but then I felt a pop and all resistance in the pedal was gone and no more racheting. I checked to see if my cable snapped and it did not. There's just no resistance in the pedal and no racheting clicking noise at all and worst of all, no parking brake. Is this an easy fix or no? Thanks

I had that happen, I just swapped the pedal. Didn't bother trying to figure out why, because I had easy access to another pedal.

Pedal is an easy swap.

might want to check and make sure the parkbrake cables are attached on the arm inside the drum..........or pull on the both cables where they join the pedal cable along the frame near the door....
