PCM code?

My check engine light came on a few days ago, so I checked the engine and yup it was still there. I ran the diagnostics deal, and it showed a couple codes the were: PCM 1693, 1740 and a ECU of 1693 and 0177. I put a new HR-VP44 in it about ten thousand miles ago and its always had good fuel preasure. I never had the old codes flashed out of it, is it possible it was an old code that popped up? Also where is a good site that has a list of codes or does compD have them?
