Hi, yet another PCS thread.

Putting together a early 70's IH truck with a 6BT and a 4R100 2wd version with pto.

Wanting to keep the dash as simple as possible, speedo, tacho, oil pressure and coolant temp is pretty much it. As with any compound turbo set up I want to read a heap of different gauges so I was looing at the dash to go with the TCU, have a warning light on the dash for if something is wrong but only really have the screen on display for tuning or being a tool.

Price wise seemed reasonable considering the cost of 2 boost gauges 2 drive pressure gauges a fuel pressure plus a couple other things for some mods I'm doing to the rotary pump.

So questions are-

After all the inputs required for the 4r100 to run how many will be left? and can they be used to read other sensors to send info to the dash via CAN?

What sort of programmability is in the PWM outputs from the dash? I want to send a PWM signal to a external control based on rpm at the initial stages but maybe use boost input as well? was thinking the boost controller output may do the same job just going to my other controller not a solenoid?

I count 6 analog in for the TCU and 8 for the dash, via CAN that should mean I wont require double ups?
and with 6 total speed inputs I am well and truly covered.

The input requirements for my external controller are as follows.

250-5000Hz PWM, 5-95% duty cycle.
Low 1.5volts- high 3.5V. 50volts maximum.

I have email PCS but never got a reply, I would assume they get fairly hammered by emails so probably ignored it as another whack job:blahblah1:

Thanks Str8

Download the D200 manual and read up

Yes you can do everything you described and more. You will have all the inputs and outputs of the D200 and TCU combined because they are connected via the CAN bus.

Here is a shot of the D200 that was in my drag truck playing back an 1/8 mi pass. Notice all the things it was monitoring. The 2 PWM outputs were controlling the wastegate control solenoids on my turbos.

Thanks for the quick reply, had a read through quickly, not sure how this will correlate with my controller.

"The dash's pulse-width modulated (PWM) outputs are high side (+12VDC) drive outputs"

specs for my solenoid control
