Got bored today and did the bumpers, door handles, tailgate handle, and grill. Going to the mirrors and plastic around the tail lights next. Just really makes me realize how crappy the paint looks:doh:

What do you prep the surfaces with, can't remember what Swole said he did.

I just used 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Wiped each surface three times.
 
I've used paint thinner on all the pieces I've done.

Is this the stuff u buy offline that comes with a sprayer??? I saw a whole truck kit for 411 and thought bout doing my new truck I got

Yeah, that's the place to get it ^^ you can get pre-thinned gallons of many colors ready to spray with a HPLV gun. They also have a forum and many helpful videos. I did an entire car in a weekend and it turned out very well. You can make it almost look like a paint job anymore. Surfaces that are horizontal are the toughest because of the way it settles. If you don't lay it on right it can get very grainy.
