wont start just turnes over ?
still has the ford diesel car warranty till sept.
but i think it only covers anything oil touches.

What are some of the symptoms prior to it not starting? Did it start hard before or did it start fine and then you drove it and shut it off and now it won't start. If its the latter I would lean towards a bad FICM. If its been starting hard I would lean towards either injectors or something to do with the HPOP or components.
 
its been fine wife drove it to school to get kids shut it off
and came back out and no start .
what is the hpop ?
 
just had new egr at ford 3 months ago also.
they should have checked inj s and all mabey
 
HPOP - High Pressure Oil Pump

Creates the Oil pressure needed to fire the injectors
 
I would get towed to reliable garage/dealer and have FICM checked. This is the computer control for the inj.. If you need one they are about 550.00 from ford PLUS
you have to have it programmed after installation another 200.00 . That's how they act , they just quit anytime.
 
May be just an o-ring leak in the HPOP system. When the oil is cold ,it goes to 500 PSI quickly. As it sits warm oil seeps past HPOP o-rings, and gives you a no start condition. From this side it is only a guess. Test, verify, repair. Please do not throw parts at it.
 
yes o ring the truck fired up the next morning
now at the shop ...
whats the cheepest head studs ?
 
well its fixed .. head studs and hpop fittings .. now what kind of programmer
do i need had a quadzla on it before ..
