I matched ported the t4 manifold and turbo on my truck now.
I just received my new stainless diesel manifold, the ports
are smaller then on my turbo, going by gasket. Are the any
reason to port this.

I would port match... as long as the manifold has enough material to work with.

:Cheer:

yep...i did head to manifold...manifold to adapter...adapter to turbo....hotpipe to other turbo...picked up boost...which means turbos are being driven harder...and the intake side stayed the same...lol

Thanks, I will do it. I ported ex gate and turbo to old manifold.
Because this new manifold ports are smaller then gates opening
I didn't know if it was needed.

did you gasket match your turbo and manifold or port match? you usually want to port the exit a little smaller than the entrance unless you pin the items because gravity is going to allow the pieces to sag down a little and you'll have a lip

I gasket matched turbo to gate, gate to manifold
exhaust to manifold. That is the old setup.
This new manifolds turbo ports are smaller then
the gate ports that it will be bolted to.

When porting is complete scribe some hash marks across the turbo & manifold flanges so you'll be able to align them perfectly when bolting it all up
