I just dynoed my 12v and curious to see what everybody is making Hp vs boost thanks guys I did 631 on 58 lb 66/480

When I was runnin a single HE351 w/ 50mm external wastegate, made 449/1001 at about 40psi, maybe a little more like 42psi

Three different trucks with BD Super B Special's.
97 215 pump 713hp @ 58psi. DDP4's and 024 DV's @ 25* timing
97 180 pump 502hp @ 40psi. DDP3's and 024 DV's @ 19* or 20* timing
95 160 pump 559hp @ 40psi. DDP3's and 191 DV's @ 42* timing

I'll have to see if I can find my notes from a couple of years ago, I played with the wastegates on a Bell USB, HTT Pro Street 66, and the BD SBS while on the dyno. Granted they were all singles, but the higher the boost, the higher the horse power.

Wow Brett did I read that right, 42*????

I never dyno'd the old 468 setup but it was enough to equate to 580rwhp with 26*, 191s, 5x16s, 5k cds springs, 887 215 pump stock rack plug no plate afc mods going off the 12.07 at 110.6 at 6250lbs. Made more power with the addition of a rack plug but blew the head gasket the weekend I was going to race it.

Again going off of e.t. calculator at 6490lbs (added 35" tires on new wheels) 12.46 @ 108.6 I'm around 550rwhp when I ran this year with: 911 180 pump benched by DPE, all afc mods, 5k cds springs, 5x13s with around .055" total lift work (.035 pintle, .020 lift collar IIRC), 24* (at that time, at 27-28* now), number 6ish custom plate I made half way back (zero plate now, my try six again), and competition delivery valves cut by Weston (same as SDX pieces).

Yeah Nick you read it right, it was on my 95 2wd that I'm putting together. the previous owner borrowed my timing kit to set it and apparently he couldn't read a dial indicator correctly.

64-71-.80 turbo, 160 pump, 30 degrees timing. 634hp and 1340 torque. 264k miles on engine and chassis.

What rpm were you turning?

I have 5k springs but my external gate keeps blowing off way to soon I sat n truck when was dynoed and its like the boost gauge flutters cause the gate keeps trying to open and is letting boost by I'm gonna jam gate shut and see what kinda boost I can make
