Anybody have any input on how to increase the power on a 1962 John Deere 3010?

Any help greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Put a Cummins in it. :hehe:

No which pump does it have on it. A Pump?

Can you take a picture of the pump and post it up here. I assume its a NA engine.?

3010's, 20 and 4010's and 20's are all N/A engines. I know a 3010 cause I learned to drive on it as a toddler but spent many hours on a 4020 as a teen, both could use a pump turnup, turbo and air to air intercooler.

Black Pearl, you would be scared to know the power they could put down hour after hour.......I'd try a small turbo and intercooler first as they do burn a bit of fuel.

I'm with Jim on this one...I'm sure one of the JD guys knows better than me which (if any) of the other series manifolds/turbos will/will not bolt up

As for the pump, I'm guessing a Stanadyne DB...but that's me out on a limb

M&W turbo kits make these thing bad a**! No other Deere parts will perform aswell. The best we've seen is 125hp on a 4020, but egt got really hott!
