Around what power level is main studs really nessicary and at what point is a stud girdle neccicary. Trying to look into the future and not have to pull the motor back out. End goal would be somewhere in the 750-800hp range. Just trying to do it right the first time. Already have the block O-ringed, head studs, arp rod bolts, titanium valve keepers. First shots is to be atleast 500 (hopefully) single turbo and twins down the road.

Main studs will be ok for your HP goal. You should not need a girdle.

Thanks for the input. But around what power level is a gurdal really needed then?

I'd say if your going for more than 800 HP I'd get one. Something to think about years ago we didn't have girdles and we got by with out them. But the advancements in tech is there now.
If you want one than I'd say get one. But studs will hold more than you think.
