Ppump engine injectors into a VE pump engine???

What does it take to put my ddp3's from a 98 12 valve with a p pump into a 93 with VE PUMP?? Can it be done?? I've already tried to talking him into p pumping it..

someone makes brass bushing that u will need. p-pump injectors have 7mm tips and VE pump injectors have 9mm tips.

Swap the tips from the ddp3's into the bodies of the VE injectors.

that i dont know. maybe try a diesel injection shop. i know a guy that has done this but i lost his number...

no the intercooled trucks have 7mm tips...it's just the non intercooled trucks with 9mm...the biggest issue is the pop off pressure difference between the two pumps (the p-pump being higher pressure)

Swap the tips from the ddp3's into the bodies of the VE injectors.

Like Bill said, swap the tips. Thats the only way to do it. Have the 2nd gen tips on the 1st gen bodies.
