Pre-pump filter?

I am going to be switching to an electric lift pump. It will most likely be an A1000. What do you recomend for a filter before the pump?

Aeromotive recomends thier $100 inline unit, are there any other options?
Can you use say a 50 micron water seperator/ fuel filter before the pump? Or does the water seporator need to be under pressure?

U can to a certain micron point , to low can get to restrictive they say , I use a 100 b4 and a 2 micron fuel/water sep after

What kind of filter is your 100m?

Use the 100 micron Aeromotive inline unit before the pump, then the water separator after the pump. Mount right to the back of the a1000 with the proper fittings.
