I'm doing twins hx35 drilled wg and divider. Over a 400 framed turbo but I can't decide which 400 to go with....

My question is how much of a difference would it be running a 75/83/1.1 to a 72/83/1.1 or is the 96/1.32 suitable for street driving? ( no towing) The truck isn't heavily fueled. So i didnt think inneeded such a large turbine/ exhaust housing I have the chance to run a 75/87/1.0 t4 but I'm kinda leary about running a t4 and that small of a housing.

I ran a s363 over a ht3b on stock fueling with efilive on my 06 and it spooled the same as the s363 did as a single. So I'd probably recommend a s472 96/1.32 t6 housing or even that K31 that is listed for sale on here if still available. I have an Aurora 5000 for sale but it's t3 not t6.

whats your hp goal? the 75/87 with a t4 foot will be a nice blend of things. your secondary is small so you probably want to stay away from a large primary as to not get laggy. the 83mm turbines are quite responsive and if your not looking for a zillion hp work well on the 12 valves. your 5x14's will light a big 1.34 s400. any of your mentioned turbos will work. packaging will be easier with the smaller housing aswell. the difference will be initial spool time vrs top end performance.

When youbsay packaging are you talking about fitment in the engine bay? I'm not looking to break records just a solid 575-600 streetable. I don't really drive hard moat of the time the truck doesn't see above 2500rpm I have it set up for more mid range fuel, that was the other reason I was questioning if I needed that big 96/1.3 housing if I don't drag race or sled pull

I'd stick the new 1.15 t6 on an s475. I do not see your secondary doing what you want however.

yes. fitment in the engine bay. if that's your rpm range and all more hp you want stay conservative. whats the price on the t4 s400? a box s475 will be around $650 plus another $250 ish for a different housing. also note that 87mm turbine wheel is $$$$$ compared to an 83 or 96mm wheel.

I had a hx35 over a 475 with a 83mm turbine stuffed in a 1.10 housing. Super fun little set, made lots of torque and broke my input shaft, never had it on the rollers to see the power but I'd guess 550-600 at the time.

I'm listening lol I really don't like the idea of me running my 64.5/73/12 as my secondary it spools decent. I didn't want t to run a big set like a 64.5 /78 or 80mm

A 62/65 or 62/68 is more what you are looking for with that power level imo. The hx35 is gonna be angry.

Before I order this turbo tomorrow. I had one last question witch housing and turbine wheel combo would dislike my tight converter more the 96/1.32 or the 83/1.1 I read some where the 83 will flutter or surge at higher rpm while the 96 chops at higher rpm

Do a 63/68/.7&76/92/1.1, so you can tell me what my set up will do if I ever find the motivation to finish...

I drove my 63 as a single for a very short period and I was super impressed and that's a VE, should do even better with your fuel.

I never noticed inter-stage lag with a 75/96/1.32 or 80/96/1.32 comp wheel in the low 600s. Personally Id either go with a box 475 or a box s480.

Jump up to a 64 5/68 I had the 63/68 and I wasn't a fan of it .. my 64.5/73/.70 spooled faster witch isn't saying much :hehe:

I probably won't make that with my fuel. Maybe 550 575 .. I've even thought about doing a sxe as a primary lol with my fuel and goals
