The first hook of the season was a great success from a promoter's standpoint. Huge crowd - good track and a very nice field of trucks in the Pro Stock Diesel division. Not so good for two of the top trucks - Tim Jackson and Bill DeBenedictus - who both broke and finished near the bottom of the class.

We had our first 3.0 winner as Billy DeBlasio with the "XDP Diesel Power" truck from south of Pittsburgh area took a narrow victory over the "Brother's Diesel" Dodge of Joe Gambino with another 3.0 truck "Cuz its Bad" and Scott Blair third in a three-way pull-off.

See Full Pull Productions Pulling Series for complete results. The 'Great Experiment' with the new rules appeared to work perfectly. Two weeks to the next hook at the Great Geauga County fairgrounds in Burton, Ohio on June 23 at 6:30pm.

Jon Woskob called in yesterday and took his 'dropped hook' due to a family emergency. he was loaded and ready to head to Ohio when his grandmother was rushed to the hospital. Jon plans to 'test' the Dodge at Brookville on this Saturday with the RWYB and then come to Burton, OH on June 23 for the next hook with the Pro Stock Diesels.

Fuel leak. Felt it was to early in the season for a pyrotechnics show.
