Projector lights bought on ebay?

Wondering if any one has bought those black head lights on ebay for a 3rd gen. My buddy bought some for his 2nd gen and said they didnt fit well. Not to mention they were a PITA to install. Not to worried about install issues. Just want them to fit right and look good. Any opinions?

From what i have seen from the cheaper projectors is that they aren't as bright as a factory light. Personally I wouldn't get a set. Normal bulb black ones are way better. IMHO

Dustin thats actually what i would prefer anyhow. I just want the black look. Any suggestions on where to find them? Ebay?

Ebay specials with Hids in them, and I changed out the little lights to white led bulbs from retro solutions. The housings and hids have been in the truck for 3 years now and still holding up.

Well thats all i needed to know. Looks good and fits right were my main concerns. Do they plug right in, or require a lil wiring?

Mine fit fine. They were cheap aftermarket ones. Then it's just plug in your bulbs and go at it. I love the clear reflectors over the dumb orange ones.

Still legal too.
