Fiber optic with light. Made in the country world famous for cloning dinosaurs(Costa Rica). Using this amazing device I was actually able to look down an injector hole and confirm there was a piston down there. $40 shipped.

These are going to be cool when they're like 1/10th the size, aren't they?
 
The technology got really good. Smaller, better, and way cheaper. I tossed this one in the dump pile a month or two ago.
