I'm having a hard time finding insurance for my truck during the season and even storage insurance any help would be appreciated

I forgot about Lutz, wasn't sure if he did sled trucks or not. I'll have to check into him myself. I've heard pretty decent things about him as far his prices and claims on drag cars, so I don't think I'd be worried using him on a truck.

Any more info on this? I got a quote from CCR and haven't heard back from Lutz. Just want more than one quote. Thanks

Ok guys, I have a rokkie question. What does this insurance cover? I assume it doesnt cover breakage, but what about if it catches fire and burns to the ground on the track vs stuck in my shop when it goes up in flames? Or stolen? Just curious what this covers vs my reg insurance? (Which is just for theft or is parked in my shop if the shop went up in flames. <- that'd be the worst day ever....

All of the above depending on the coverage. Except the breakage part. CCR can insure the garage the truck is parked in as well as the trailer, all the tools and spare parts encase its stolen. Your regular insurance wont cover anything if they find out its a truck used for competition even if its still a street truck and may even drop you for it. Just call and talk to CCR. They will explain everything to you

Sheppard Insurance. Use to be Wells Fargo but changed hands. U cover your chassis and engine sepetate also haulers, tools, equipment etc. it's really cheap considering what u cover.

My insurance agent just last month told me my regular vehicle insurance on my tow rig wouldn't cover anything (meaning tow rig damage in an accident or liability) if I was hauling my "competition vehicle" to an event. The more questions I asked the worse it got.

Now that sounds like horse chit. I don't see how they can deny a claim if you are not on the event grounds. Hauling to an event is no different than hauling it to the repair shop, my house or even the scrap yard. Hauling is hauling.
