Question for all you 12v guys?

I have a 95 ram 1500 w/very clean body,I want to find a 94-95 12v 2500 & swap motor,trans,transfer case , axles & springs, I would have to shorten rear drive shaft, but would it be a pretty straight forword swap? I've be told as long as I get a 94-95 2500 everything should swap over?

It is a 4 wd,also it is a short box standard cab, I want to make a short box 2500

In that case, find a RCLB and cut the frame. Use the bed you already have, sell the LB

Just don't butt weld it...

Don't butt weld it unless you are good at welding. At least weld some kind of gusset along the bottom inside of the frame.
