rear lift block

i need to lift the back of my truck about 1", can i buy a 1" spacer and put it on the spacer already there (factory spacer) or do i have to just buy a whole new bigger spacer? thanks!

I would do a whole new lift block personally, I don't like the idea of stacking blocks. Infact I like the idea behind these...

There are others out there similar for less money though, but I do like that design...
