Anybody know what years changed the rear seal?
I Figure the third gens are all the same. 07.5 to 12 6.7 same as 5.9.?!
After that it gets confusing 13 to?

Pretty sure the seal itself is the same for all the years. The gasket for the housing is different though.

From the ESN's I have for a '95, '98.5, '01, '06, '15, and '16, except for the '95 Cummins has superseded all the RR seals to a 5259499 Seal. The TSB is #TSB101035. This is what they say for the "Core Issue":

This document announces the release of an improved rear crankshaft seal for B, C, ISB, ISC, and ISL (diesel and gas) engines.

The major design improvement is the contact surface of the rear crankshaft seal to the crankshaft. The new dry rear crankshaft seal is machined while the old rear seal is molded. This improvement will support all B, C, and L engine platforms.

From that, I would think it would also be the same for at least the '94-'98 12V's. Maybe Jeff will jump in here and verify this.
