Rockwell 2.5 ton axle

I have 2 but only want to sell one of them. it came out of a 1962 m35a2 or m35a1. helped pull them out a few days ago. opened them up and still has oil in it, gears look great. asking $500 or trade for first gen dodge fenders, doors or bed, nv4500.

Mmm wonder how the top load woukd work in a puller...?? Does that have a drive shaft out both sides or am I seeing things?

Pretty sure the housing is the same as the F106 just turned up, axles are probably pretty darn close to the same size
 
I don't think those will take the tq of a sled puller in the current form but you can find a normal chunk and put in that housing.
 
$300 takes her home, can deliver a couple hours away. will be at Scheids this weekend if you want to check it out, I'm not far from there. will not go any lower, this is pretty freaking cheap for a decent Rockwell 2.5 ton axle lol.:cheer::rockwoot::clap:
 
Nice big ring gear and I have heard it is pretty efficient. I've also heard just about everything but the ring gear must upgraded if you want to put any power through it.

How much torque did the cummins 230 muli-fuel make anyway??
