I have 2 sets of rods, one from a 95 12v and a set from a 2000 med duty truck 24v engine. Which ones would be better to put in a pulling engine.

I think the 12v ones have USA on them and the 24v ones have Mexico on them.

Any Ideas?

I'm wanting to get rid of a set of them so I want to know which ones to keep.

Thanks
Adam

You should weigh them all. On the mexico rods I feel that the 700 series is the strongest. I haven't gotten a set of made in the US rods yet.

I have set of Cummins 6bta rods made in Japan ...:evil

They are from very early (mid '80) non turbo industrial engine.

I think Woodruff actually sent a cross section of all the rods out and had them tested. Call him and pick his brain im sure he will give u the lab results....

I was told that the USA rods were the ones to use unless you had access to marine or industrial rods.

how do you tell if they're 700 series or not???
