rpm gauge.

my rpm gauge is going crazy and will drop to 0 and the check eng. GEN water in fuel wait to start and trans temp come on and if truck is in OD it will down shift. so confused, if anyone has anything on this let me know.

Mine did this when put new motor in sounds like need to adjust the pick up on the front balancer mine did same thing I folded piece paper like three times and put it between senior and balancer and tightened it back up that seemed to work good

^^^ Agreed i used a credit card to gap mine after my kdp fix works great.

mine used to do that if I turned my potentiometer too far so it may have something to do with the 5v reference on the tps or the crank sensor shorting too.
