I can't seem to keep any ic boots together. Keep splitting them is there any body running a modded truck w/o one??

like asked what boost pressures are you reaching? also what boots are you using? they might not be strong enough to hold what your pushing.

70lb right now and that's where they r letting go. Blew one source automotive and one mr. Bobs boots and couple other junk ones.

splitting the boots or popping them off? have any kind of strap on them to keep them from popping off?

If 70lbs is all your running you shouldnt have a problem with the rite boot and good clamp. We've run trucks making 100 without any problems.

Get some better boots! Which boots specifically are splitting? At the intercooler connection, secondary outlet...?

The boot is expanding in the middle and ripping, you can band them in the middle and it will keep them from blowing.

Full vband is the way to go

U mean put another clamp n the middle ?? And I agree where do I get the stuff for band clamps??

How do you adjust for the engine rocking with the torque??? Being rigid would be an awful amount of stress on the turbo and intercooler...

tighten up the mounts... strap/chain the engine... let the intercooler float slightly... use bellows...

lots of different options
