there is the link, just wanting on some opinions about the 7.3 idi..dont know much about them and want to learn..also what kind of gas mileage would i be looking at..give me any advice you have, thanks

Well the Old IDI engines weren't powerhouses like the Current Powerstroke's, Duramax's or Cummins, but for there time they could hold there own.. Mileage will be in the mid teens i suppose, depending on how you drive, how tight the engine/tranny is. There aren't alot of after market products for them, but theres some to be had, or many that can be home-made.. There is a company out there building Injectors and Injector pumps for them though.
