S400 or s410

Hello gents, I’ve got a line on a Borg s478/96 t6 turbo, but it’s 1” longer in length than a t6 s475. Is this an s410 cartridge? If so, is it worth messing with or is it some oddball that I’d be stuck with? Also, what’s the difference between the s400 and s410 other than length? Thanks gentlemen.

Yes it is likely an S410/S430 frame. Regular S400 turbine housings work on that wheel and bearing housing combo so no issue there. The compressor side is likely something a little bit different. It will likely be a CAT cover or if it is vband itll likely have a large compressor inlet. They are easy to unload on big truck guys as that is the bread and butter upgrade on most CAT and ISX stuff so you wont be stuck with it.
