S500

Anyone have any luck with the s500 frame smooth bores? Looking at places to get my 60 and s400 switched to 3.0 smooth bore and couple guys said go to 500 with a bigger exhaust wheel. Heard rumors of them not lasting long with map grooves so I would think would be worse with smoothbore unless you put ball bearings in?

The higher cost of the s500 with the minor improvement over the s400 isn't worth it. If you want to spend that much and keep reliability we would recommend a hx80 frame 3.0. We can also convert your old s400 very reasonably.
