So the other day I was riding aroun with my buddy in his 06 duramax. I have raced this trick several times in my PSD (mods in sig) and he beat me every time even when I am in extreme or street tune.
But the other day we were driving and we came across a 7.3. We noticed he had a big azz tip an exhaust so we pulled up next to him an asked what he had done. He said pipe, intake and a SCT. So of course we asked if he wanted to run them and we did. We went from a 20mph roll and the 7.3 took my buddy's d-max until about 80.
I can't figure out why this 7.3 can beat my buddy's dmax with an SCT while I can't beat him with custom tunes.
Any thoughts?
