I went to reynolds ga drag racing yesterday. 10.90 S.ST class
is something I have been wanting to try. I got the truck dialed in to
a 10.87 before first round, didnt help running with those guys was a
joke .002 10.91 was most of the field. I was out first round as I new I
would be. It was cool running away from those cars the first 330ft.
most of them running throttle stops. 10.90 @147mph will hurt your
pride on the big end of the track I soon learned! I stagged deep did
every thing I could to better my react time. just couldnt get a 5000lbs
truck to move with those guys. In the final 4 cars .017 and over a 10.92
would put you out! a diesel detuned in super street! who would have
believed that one 5 years ago!:Cheer:

Those gas powered, normally aspirated cars are a cinch to drive compared to our turbocharged low RPM tanks. Lightweight, no boost gauge to watch or turbo to lite.
I'll bet you were still the "Crowd favorite" though!

That was the May 12 race. I bet you received a lot of attention, more then any other super street racer there. This kind of publicity needed Great Deal

That will be a problem with running the NHRA index classes. The gassers have a huge tech advantage, and their technology does not work on most our trucks. One or two rounds is all that can be expected.

But the saving grace is you could probably TOW their racecar into the 12's. :D
